The command line and the MCP server are ours, and they cost nothing extra. Your scripts and agents get the same actions as the app: subscribe, read, save, digest. Save a post from your terminal and it is saved in the app. Every AI call runs on your key, and each one is logged with its estimated cost.

A few questions

Is it free?

Yes. Tribb is free, with no ads. Sign in with Google, or with Apple on iPhone. AI features are optional and run on your own key.

What does “your own key” mean?

You add a key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or any OpenAI-compatible service. Tribb adds no fee. Every call is logged with its estimated cost, so you can see what you spent.

Will the AI make things up?

Ask for a summary and Tribb will not guess. If it cannot get the article text, the summary stops instead of working from the headline alone. Catch-up briefs cite the posts they used.

Can my own scripts and agents use it?

Yes. Tribb has a command line and an MCP server. Both are ours, and both are included. They use the same actions as the app, so a post your agent saves is saved in the app.

Does it handle YouTube and podcasts, or only blogs?

All three, in one list. Videos and episodes sit next to articles. Podcast episodes resume where you left off on that device.
